This blog post is going to be JAM PACKED full of love and joy! A couple of weeks ago, I had the pleasure of working with two of the most incredible families for back to back sessions. On a gorgeous Wednesday afternoon, I met with the Dew Family and the Williamson Family. First up on deck was the Dew Family. Jessica, Kyle and Mary Parker met me in a pecan grove to capture their final days as a family of three. They were full of smiles, giggles, and unbridled affection for one another! It was a true blessing to witness their strong family dynamic and to see how much they love each other. And Jessica - let me just say - I could only PRAY to be that beautiful as an expecting mother!!! Momma was GORGEOUS!!!! The dress she wore from Fillyboo perfectly complimented her and she looked like a vision in it! I am excited to share that the Dew Family welcomed little sister, Elizabeth Katherine, only two days after our shoot!! She is perfect and precious in every way and I cannot WAIT to meet her adorable self! Working with Jessica, Kyle and MP is something I won't soon forget!
After wrapping up with the Dews', I headed over to the beach at Canebrake to shoot with the Williamson Family! I have had the pleasure of knowing Lauren and Caleb for nearly 6 years now. When Corey and I moved to Seminary, this power couple welcomed us to the community wholeheartedly! They are two of the genuinely kindest folks you'll ever meet, and I consider it a true blessing to know them and their sweet Simon! To say we had fun at their family sesh is an understatement! Simon giggled and smiled while he played in the sand, splashed in the water with Dad, and gave sweet hugs to Momma. This blonde haired, blue eyed cutie is an angel, and Caleb and Lauren better watch out because he's definitely going to be breaking some hearts one day! It doesn't get much more amazing than the Williamsons' and I am so thankful to call them friends!
To both of these incredible families, I say THANK YOU!!! To have you choose me as your photographer is the greatest of blessings! To be able to capture these moments in time for you when your littles are growing and discovering the world around them is an honor. The days go by so fast, especially when they're young, so I know how important is to you to be able to soak up every second that you can. I hope that one day when you look back at these images you will remember the smiles on each of your faces and feel the love you shared for one other in these moments. From the bottom of my heart, I am so thankful to know you guys and I hope you love these photographs from your sessions as much as I do! Big hugs, Shea
